We will then explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, located at the mouth of the Bouregreg River, featuring Andalusian gardens, blue walls, and flower-filled streets.
Next, we drive to Meknes, founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement. It became a capital under Sultan Moulay Ismaïl in the 17th century. Meknes is known for its Spanish-Moorish style and high walls with impressive gates. The guided tour includes a visit to Bab Mansour, a 16-meter horseshoe-arched gate with 52-foot-high wooden doors.
