We will then explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, located at the mouth of the Bouregreg River, featuring Andalusian gardens, blue walls, and flower-filled streets.

Next, we drive to Meknes, founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement. It became a capital under Sultan Moulay Ismaïl in the 17th century. Meknes is known for its Spanish-Moorish style and high walls with impressive gates. The guided tour includes a visit to Bab Mansour, a 16-meter horseshoe-arched gate with 52-foot-high wooden doors. After exploring the bustling El-Hedim Square, we will drive to Fes to spend the night in a traditional riad.

We will continue through scenic landscapes, including the Jebel Ayachi mountain range, reaching the pre-Saharan zone. We will stop for pictures in the Ziz Valley, known for its untouristed palm groves, and visit Erfoud, famous for its fossils and the annual date festival. If time permits, we will visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif in Rissani.
